We are the grade 8s from Hartman Public School in Aurora, Ontario. This project combined both grade 8 classes at our school to create a wonderful piece in our final year together. There were no auditions. Every student selected an instrument to play and worked hard to learn their part and bring it together in this complicated version of ‘Treat You Better’, arranged by our music teacher, Mr. Wallace. We used almost every instrument we have at our school, including xylophones, glockenspiels, drums, ukuleles and even boomwhackers! We love the syncopated rhythm of this great pop song, which lends itself so beautifully to percussion-based instruments. Hope you enjoy it!Treat You Better - Hartman Public School #CBCMusicClass | |
